We are a Manhattan-based small firm seeking one or more attorneys to assist with cases in NY and/or NJ.
Experience with foreclosure defense (mortgage modifications and short sales) and/or credit card collection defense a plus. Familiarity with state court rules of civil procedure and making court appearances also a plus.
Compensation:
- $50 to $100 per court paper
- $100 per court appearance
- Additional compensation for brief writing and more substantial cases or appearances
We are also seeking attorneys with experience in the following areas:
- Business formation, including operating agreements
- Real Estate
- Landlord Tenant
- Lease Drafting
- Family Law
- Wills
- Immigration
- Divorce
- Bankruptcy
In your email, please state bar admissions and counties/regions you are available in for court appearances.
In addition, we are seeking attorneys or paralegals to pull and copy court files, and mail or fax us the documents. If you are in court on a regular basis this would be helpful as transportation fees will not be reimbursed.
Compensation:
- $20 per court file copied plus copy costs.
