Criminal law attorney job in Norfolk, VA

Immediate opening available for a full time attorney to join the Hampton Roads law practice with an office primarily in downtown Norfolk with some appts taking place in the Hampton office.
Duties: The attorney will mainly meet traffic/criminal clients and handle traffic/criminal cases throughout Hampton Roads area. The position will also involve some administrative tasks involved with running an office . In addition, the attorney will handle some marketing tasks such as regularly writing on the firm's website blog, etc.
Currently, traffic cases consists of 70% of practice, 20% criminal (90% being misdemeanors), 10% other. This composition may change in the foreseeable future. Travel to the following courts to handle cases is expected: most cases in Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Yorktown with occasional cases in Portsmouth, Suffolk, Isle of Wight and Northampton County
Hours: 40 hours, 8am-4pm and/or 9am-5pm
Days per week: M-F
Other office locations: Hampton

Benefits:
$40,000 salary based on 12 months of work + bonus at end of 6th month or raise after 6 months (please review below FAQ)
5 days of paid vacation
5 days of sick leave
Non-financial benefits:
This position emphasizes balance of life and work. The clients of the law firm are dealing with relatively low stress legal issues (traffic matters such as DUI, criminal misdemeanors, etc.). The clients tend to be affable and of middle to affluent class and many are members of the armed forces. With that said, keep in mind this is a for profit business. Successful candidate should expect a heavy docket of cases.
Requirements:
Be licensed in Virginia and in good standing. Applicants who have had no previous bar disciplinary actions are strongly preferred. Graduated from an ABA approved Law School. Training will be provided. Be Proficient with use of the internet and Microsoft Office..

Entry-level criminal defense attorney job in Seattle

Busy downtown Seattle DUI/criminal defense attorney has an immediate opening for a full time entry level attorney. Firm serves many lower income clients and spanish speaking clients. Attorney will research and write motins and briefs, appear in court for pre-trial hearings, negotiate with prosecutors, prepare cases for trial, communicate with clients via phone and email and perform file managment. Canidate must have: 1. strong research and writing skills, 2. natural ability to communicate well with clients, prosecutors and judges, 3. strong orginazational skills, 4. good legal anayltic skills, 5. strong work ethic, 6 quick learner and take direction well, 7. be able to drive to court. DUI attorney job near D.C.

Personal Injury law firm seeking to expand areas of practice. Looking for a VA licenced attorney to handle traffic and DUI cases, and to assist with personal injury cases as needed. Small law firm (currently 5 attorneys, support staff of 4 non-lawyers) located near the Ballston Mall, with easy access to Ballston Metro and I-66. Some experience with traffic court & DUI cases in Virginia required. No experience in personal injury law required. Strong communication and computer skills are essential. Bilingual candidates preferred. Workweek is generally 40 hours, but the office has occasional large deadlines that may require extra time.
