Contract attorney job in D.C.

We are a small health law boutique firm in the Palisades area. We are currently seeking a full time, contract attorney to assist on various health law projects and cases.

Applicants must be licensed in at least one state and at least have their DC license application pending. Special consideration will be given to applicants licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Must have reliable transportation -- we are not near a Metro line but a bus stop is directly in front of our office.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. It is projected to last at least several months (possibly more depending on workload).

Easy going work environment, casual dress. Must be an excellent writer, skilled at researching issues and enjoy drafting advocacy pieces.

Knowledge of medical terms, and clinical care and treatment approaches would be helpful but is not necessary.

Must be able to interview immediately and start work without delay if selected.
