Entry-level case work attorney job near Dallas

Looking for an aggressive attorney to handle our evictions department processing. Fresh Law Grads will be considered as well as retiring attorneys who are looking for part-time work. The selected individual must be willing to travel the DFW area in response to eviction hearings and appearances. You will be representing clients who have been foreclosed on and are wishing to fight the eviction process. Most cases can be mediated by our office with the foreclosure/eviction attorneys however some actually make it to the hearing stage.

You must be able to:
1. Formulate a defense strategy,
2. Draw up a lawsuit based upon violations of Federal Programs (we will provide you with the violation guidelines)
3. Able to travel to local JP precincts for appearances
4. Have a knowledge of how and when to file TRO's
5. Have a knowledge of continuances and jury hearings for our clients
6. Have strong communication and negotiation skills to deal with the biggest and best Foreclosure/Eviction Trustees in the land.

This is a contract position which pays per case. Although being bi-lingual is not a requirement. Case assignment may be greater to those who speak Spanish.

This position is immediately available and we will be interviewing tomorrow Thurs 1/6 and Friday 1/7

Compensation: Independent Case Work (Average Fee from $500-$1500)
