Unpaid Long Island internship for law school graduate

Law students, college students considering law school, law school and college graduates, paralegals and paralegal students are invited to apply. The position will entail both administrative and substantive work. Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on initiative, knowledge, and desire. This is an internship position but you can receive school credits and recommendations. The candidate should be mature, motivated, and eager to learn. Word processing skills are a must, and you should have your own laptop computer. Legal research and writing skills are also a plus. The candidate should also be well-organized, enthusiastic, and a hard-worker. The practice is extremely interesting and entails a dynamic and changing area of law. Because the firm is small, you will receive hands-on experience that will prove invaluable, with skills that are easily applicable in a wide array of work environments. Full-time applicants are preferred. The experience you will get will prepare you to work in a law firm, agency, corporation, or on your own. You and your resume will benefit from learning the application of law, and having real-time significant legal experience in an easy-going and professional environment.
