Small law firm with practice specializing in real estate (focus is on landlord-tenant cases, but we also handle other related matters) seeks a Part-Time Attorney with 1 - 3 years experience to represent our clients in Bronx Housing Court every morning, 9am-1pm. Immediate start.
Responsibilities include: Representing clients in court, reviewing and negotiating stipulations of settlement, arguing motions. Heavy client contact.
Housing Court experience a plus, but not required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Candidates should have: Strong writing skills a must; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate ideas; the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured, environment; accurate and detail-oriented.
Must be admitted to practice in New York State.
Compensation: $20,000 a year to start
