Part-time matrimonial attorney for Staten Island family law practice. We are looking for an attorney admitted at least two years, preferably in both New York and New Jersey who enjoys handling family law cases and who wishes us to train him or her to become one of the best family law attorneys on Staten Island.
Our firm has over 30 years experience in handling only family law matters in New York and New Jersey.
The right candidate will be intelligent, hard-working and not a "clock watcher". Must be willing to work some early evenings and Saturdays.
We will teach the right candidate all that he or she needs to know to be a successful matrimonial attorney, including how to get new clients, how to bill clients, how to make sure you get paid, ...and of course, how to prepare a case from start to finish.
You will be expected to expand to a full-time work schedule within three years. The principal of our firm has had serious health problems and is looking for an attorney who would be interested in becoming a partner within the next 3 to 5 years.
Starting salary is $20 per hour for six months, then increasing to $25 per hour thereafter. After one year, salary will depend upon the candidate's ability and performance.
