Entry-level attorney job in Manhattan

Sole-practitioner located near Columbus Circle seeks admitted attorney (will consider candidates awaiting exam result) for 90-day assignment. Salary at $600 per week. Will also consider attorney with practice and will provide office space. Looking for an immediate start.

There is a potential that the position could carry on beyond this time-frame. Daily duties include but are not limited to legal research, drafting memoranda, letters and other forms of client-correspondence, organizing client-responses regarding an ongoing civil rights case, and other general administrative tasks as assigned. There will be opportunities to attend client-counseling sessions and to go to court with the attorney to help the candidate gain hands-on, practical experience in a legal setting.
