Raleigh-Durham isn't Manhattan in terms of COL, but $10 per hour for a J.D.?
We are seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) legal assistant for our law office in Durham, North Carolina. Preference will be given to third-year law students and recent law graduates.
We are a small firm of three attorneys. The primary responsibilities of this opportunity will involve assisting our junior attorney with document review, legal research, drafting complaints/motions/memorandums of law. Our current case-load is heavily geared towards anti-foreclosure legal measures.
Compensation will start at $10/hour, but this is a great opportunity for gaining experience in the practice of law.
