Litigation attorney in Cambridge offering free office space in exchange for legal work. No pay, but perfect for starting attorney or attorney “in-waiting” (for results of Bar Exam). The office is in Central Square, right next to the Red Line (T) stop (and right across the street from Starbucks). My primary areas of concentration are: medical malpractice; employment discrimination (including sexual harassment); sexual assault/negligent security. I only represent victims/plaintiffs. Many of my clients come from other countries, so knowledge of a foreign language- especially Spanish or Portuguese is a plus (but not a necessity). All of my cases are in litigation. I mainly need assistance in discovery and preparing cases for trial. You will be able to also have use of an office, conference room, fax, copier, etc., so if you are already an attorney, you can meet clients, and maintain your own practice there.
I am very interested in helping you to learn about both the legal and practical aspects of being a lawyer, such as managing client caseloads, evaluating the merits of a claim, and negotiating settlements, etc. As a result, I am willing to spend much time "mentoring" you.
