Bankruptcy attorney job in Cleveland

Columbus based law firm is looking for an attorney to join its bankruptcy law department in Cleveland. New attorneys are welcome to apply for this open position and learn as they go, through a combination of self-study and on the job training,

Position Requirements:
Ability & desire to manage a heavy case load

Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.

The attorney filling this position will be working with firm's Sr. Bankruptcy Attorney in the Northern District to help Ohio consumers who need to retain legal counsel to file bankruptcy. Responsibilities will include client initial consultations, Federal 341 hearings, Chapter 7 cases, bankruptcy document signings, review and finalize petitions, handle advanced Chapter 7 pleadings. Position requires extensive driving throughout the entire northern part of Ohio.

Position Details:
Base Salary: $24,000/year (for 6 months), assuming no Chapter 7 & 13 bankruptcy experience
Base Salary: $35,000/year (after initial training and probationary period) + monthly bonus. Expected Earnings after first year with revenue share, $57,000 - $65,000
