Law Clerk - Solo Practitioner Looking to Fill Two Positions

The firm is a general law practice that primarily handles corporate and litigation matters and also represents personal injury, family and real estate law clients. The law clerk program offers current law students and recent graduates the unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience by working closely with the attorney and business staff in our office. Law clerk duties include research and writing for client matters, preparing legal memoranda and court filings, and a wide range of other legal tasks.

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong research and writing skills as well as a pleasant attitude and willingness to take initiative. Law clerks should be available to work between 10 and 15 hours a week and must be able to report to our DC location once a week. The ideal candidate can telecommute while producing high quality work. Only current law students and recent graduates will be considered (i.e., no college students).
