Department: County Attorney’s Office_ Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

FUNCTION:
Full-time position which performs a wide variety of routine to difficult and complex criminal prosecution and/or civil litigation legal duties including misdemeanor and criminal violations in the County’s court system; in addition to performing a wide variety of routine to difficult and complex criminal prosecution and/or any other legal duties such as youth court or child abuse and neglect matters; does related duties as required by County Attorney or Chief Deputy County Attorney.

REQUIRED:
- Juris Doctorate;
- Must be a member of the Montana State Bar.

CHALLENGES OF THE POSITION:
- Must have the flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week, if required;
- Must be able to work in a fast paced legal environment with the ability to multi-task meeting deadlines on a daily basis.
