This FT/PT position requires providing direct services to victims of family violence crimes, as well as managing a team of court-based victim advocates. Services include providing support information and advocacy services designed to enhance the safety of victims.
Qualifications:
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence, safety planning and advocacy within the court system as it relates to domestic violence issues.
• Ability to support and guide court-based advocates in the delivery of information regarding the court process, including information about protective orders, civil restraining orders, and prosecutions and sanctions available.
• Experience with in-court advocacy relating to criminal or domestic abuse issues
• Knowledge of, or desire to learn about, Housing law and community resources
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships with diverse individuals and organizations.
• Law degree
• Fluency in Spanish preferred
Salary: $42-45K and excellent benefits
