Junior in-house counsel job in Olympia, Washington

A growing Olympia based business in the timeshare industry has an opening for a "Junior Attorney" to add to it's in-house Counsel team to provide legal advice on a variety of transactions with a focus on contracts and negotiation of timeshares.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Review, write, and administer complex client contracts.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts with resorts.
• Identify, anticipate and help mitigate key legal risks within areas of responsibility.
• Researching title & deeding laws in other states.
• Conducting negotiations via the telephone.
• Contacting and working with the Better Business Bureau

Requirements:
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Washington.
• Comfortable managing multiple conflicting and changing priorities in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
• Proven record of excellent judgment, problem solving, customer service, and high-quality contribution to business strategy.
• Excellent negotiating, time management, dispute resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws.
• Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
• Integrity and a strong ethical core.
